  • TLDR: If it's your first time ordering, start with 1 pound, mark the date on the bag, and see how long it lasts!

    What's in a pound?

Roughly 4 cups (or 64 tablespoons) of soap flakes.

That's approximately 39 foaming dispenser refills, plus 13 soap spray refills.

So if you have 3 foaming dispensers (1 kitchen and 2 bathrooms) and 1 soap spray bottle, then 1 pound of soap flakes provides about 13 refills for each of your dispensers and your spray bottle.

  • Soap flakes are so versatile that you can use them for just about everything!

First, dissolve in water (dilution ratios below).

Then, fill a foaming dispenser to clean hands, bodies, dishes, counters, and much more!

You can also fill a spray bottle for household cleaning (follow with diluted vinegar for a streak-free finish on glass and mirrors).

For laundry, use soap flakes alone, or pair with baking soda and washing soda for extra cleaning and odor fighting power (or buy our pre-mixed laundry powder). For cold wash, pre-dissolve in a cup of warm water.

    Dilution Ratios

    High-volume user?

Make a batch of soap flake concentrate and keep it under your kitchen sink. When you're ready to refill your foaming hand dispensers or your soap spray bottle, simply dilute with water.

Make your concentrate. Combine 1/2 cup of soap flakes with 12 oz. hot, purified water in a mason jar. Stir (or just let sit) until the soap flakes have dissolved. Cap, and store.

Fill your foaming dispenser. Add 1/4 cup of concentrate and 10 oz. cool, purified water to your dispenser. Gently swirl to mix.

Fill your soap spray bottle. Add 1 tbsp of concentrate and 12 oz. cool, purified water to your spray bottle. Gently swirl to mix.

    See videos below for details!

    Low-volume user?

Simply combine soap flakes with water as the need arises (because you may not use the soap flake concentrate before it starts to go bad).

Fill your foaming dispenser. Combine 1.5 tbsp soap flakes with 10 oz. warm water in your foaming dispenser and stir until soap flakes have dissolved.

Fill your soap spray bottle. Combine 1/2 tbsp soap flakes (or less) with 12 oz. warm water in your spray bottle and stir until soap flakes have dissolved.

    See videos below for details!

  • Ingredients: Soap (coconut oil, sunflower seed oil, water, sodium hydroxide*).

*Food grade. None remains after saponifying the oils into soap and glycerin.

All soapmaking requires an alkali--typically sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide--to react with the acids in the oils and create soap. Soap labels are not required to specify this ingredient, but we are proud to offer one of the few soaps made with a food-grade (as opposed to industrial-grade) alkali, and we want you to know it!
